Thina Age Policy

 

At Thina, we are committed to ensuring a safe and secure experience for all our users. For this reason, we have implemented the following age-related policies:

1. Minimum Age Requirement:

• Users must be 18 years or older to create an account and access all features, including social media and messaging.

​

2. Under 18 Participation:

​

• While users under 18 cannot create accounts independently, they are still welcome to attend volunteering events. A parent, guardian, or responsible adult must create an account on their behalf and accompany them during the event.

3. Future Plans for Schools and U18s:

​

• Thina plans to introduce a school subscription version, allowing students under 18 to access volunteering opportunities through their schools.

• This school version will include specific restrictions on social media and messaging to ensure a safe and responsible experience for minors.

By including the User Acknowledgment Box, users confirm they:

• Acknowledge they have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Age Policy.

• Confirm they are 18 years or older (for individual accounts).
